The S-T results of the competition were as follows:
Ian Crittenden placed third in the triple jump for the young Bobcats with a leap of 33-2.5. Jordan Chavarria was sixth in the high jump, clearing the bar at 4-6. Rudy Olivarez was fourth in the shot put with a toss of 31-9.5. Crittenden was third in the discus with a throw of 82-2, and he was second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 20.66.
Bobcat Angel Castillo won the 300-meter hurdles in 52.31 while Jacob Peña was third in the 200-meter dash at 26.48. Peña captured second place in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:01.04. The 1,600-meter relay team of Crittenden, Martin, Hightower and Martin placed fifth with a time of 5:09. The seventh-grade boys finished sixth overall as a team.
In the high jump, Chase Conn placed fifth with a jump of 4-10. Damien Toelken placed third in the triple jump with a hop, skip and a jump of 33-6.5. Toelken was sixth in the long jump at 16-4. Trey Cantu finished third in the shot put for the Bobcats with a toss of 38-3.5.
In the 2,400-meter run, James Rodriguez crossed the finish line first with a time of 8:37.92. Tyler Harris was fifth in the same event at 9:51.61 and teammate Marcos Serate was sixth in 10:06.53.
Tim Diaz placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 19.62. Bobcat Marshall Martin was fifth in the sprint hurdles in 20.02 and Casen Conn placed sixth in 21.77. Nick Hernandez won the 400-meter run in 55.69.
Tim Diaz was third in the 300-meter hurdles at 50.98 and Martin finished close back in fifth at 51.21. James Rodriguez also took first place in the 1,600-meter run to give the young Bobcat a sweep of the distance races at the meet. His time in the metric mile was 5:24.36. Hunter Saenz was fourth in the 1,600-meter run in 6:08.75, and Serate was sixth with a time of 6:14.70.
The eighth-grade boys finished fourth overall at the meet.
Also competing at the meet for the Bobcats were seventh-graders Mason Crawley, Sam Flores, Jonathon Serrano, Kavon Martin, Ethan Earnesse, Augie Alaniz, Tim Leafty, Remy Herrera, George Trevino, L.C. Henning, Kolby Westmoreland, Billy Hightower, Abel Alaniz, Brandon DeLeon, Westin Keese, Joseph Medrano and Armando Rivas. Other eighth-graders competing at the district meet included Jett Polasek, Jared Campbell, Vicente Flores, Fred Flores, Trey Flores, Dylan Scott, Seth Garcia, Jonathan Olivarez and Chris Menchaca.
