GOLIAD – A 65-year-old Goliad man lost control of his Buick Le Sabre in downtown Goliad on Wednesday afternoon before his vehicle came to a rest on the Goliad County Courthouse lawn.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety Officer Ruben San Miguel, David Haney experienced a seizure while he was driving on End Street.

"He just had a medical emergency," San Miguel said. "When I got there, he was incoherent and didn't know answers to simple questions EMS was giving him."

There was no damage to any property.

"Thank God he didn't hit anything else or anybody," San Miguel said.
