So nobody should be disappointed Saturday, Oct. 20, when the Professional Bull Riding, Inc. brings its event to the rodeo arena at the Bee County Exposition Center.
Some of the best bull riders around will be straddling some large and mean bovines to risk life and limb as they compete for the big bucks.
Kries Vaughan of CompanyKries is bringing world famous “Backflip Johnny” Dudley and a host of other top bull wranglers to town for the event.
But the cowboys will be here even before the event begins at 7 p.m. on the big Western Week Celebration Saturday.
Vaughan said Dudley will be in Beeville and surrounding areas beginning Oct. 16 and continuing through the 19th to visit businesses and schools.
She advised that bull riding fans stop by wherever Dudley will be appearing to get his autograph and bring a camera so they can take a photo with the champ.
She recommended that fans look for more information about places and times for the visits.
Dudley will be accompanied by other bull-riding champs.
For the kids, Kries recommends a visit to the Tractor Supply store in Beeville at 1:30 p.m., right after the Bee County Chamber of Commerce Parade.
The PBR will hold a “Little Britches Buck Out” at the store starting at 1:30 p.m.
Competitors there will have a chance to buck their bulls and possibly participate in the actual PBR Little Britches Buck Out.
