GOLIAD – Quarterback Dalton Sturm threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jalen Moore as time ran out and then kicked the game-winning extra point to give Goliad a 21-20 win over the Jourdanton Indians on Friday night at Tiger Stadium.
It was the District 15-2A, Division II opener for both teams. Goliad (4-1) took a 14-0 lead into halftime, but Jourdanton (2-3) rallied for three unanswered touchdowns to take a 20-14 lead late in the fourth quarter.
