The winning entry was submitted by Brenda Sommer of Mexia. She will receive a T-shirt featuring her design. The design will be featured on 600 T-shirts given to those riding in the Missions Tour.
The tour offers routes of 10, 30, 50 and 85 miles.
The 10-mile route is a flatter course geared for families that goes through Goliad, Goliad State Park, the Fannin monument and Presidio La Bahia.
The 30-, 50- and 85-mile routes go through Goliad County and the San Antonio River valley.
Parts of the rides are on major highways and also go through rural county roads and through small farming communities in Goliad County.
Riders may register for the Missions Tour de Goliad by calling the chamber office at 361-645-3563 for a registration form, by printing the entry form from the chamber’s website at www.goliadcc.org or by registering online at www.active.com. which requires payment by credit or debit card and includes additional handling fees by active.com.
