Goliad Soil and Water Conservation District holding local work group meeting

The Goliad Soil and Water Conservation District and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service invite the community to attend a local work group meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. in the Goliad City Depot located at 211 East Franklin.

Public input is needed to help determine local natural resource priorities and criteria for USDA conservation activities and program planning for the upcoming fiscal year.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive input from local organizations, businesses and individuals that have an interest in natural resource conditions and needs in Goliad County. The meeting will be conducted as an open discussion among attendees. Participating in this meeting does not obligate attendees to participate in programs nor does it quality them for programs.
