A pickup truck and 18-wheeler collided on State Highway 183 approximately five miles north of Goliad.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a Victoria hospital with serious injuries, according to a DPS official.
Earlier Wednesday, a mini-van overturned into a ditch filled with water from heavy rain on U.S. Highway 59 between Goliad and Fannin.
