Voters will decide county bond issues Tuesday

KARNES COUNTY – In addition to deciding 10 state constitutional amendments, Karnes County voters will cast votes on two bond issues in the election this Tuesday, Nov. 8.

The bond election contains two propositions.

Proposition 1 is for $4 million to be used for courthouse improvements.

Proposition 2 is for $3 million for improvements to roads and bridges.

The polls will be open on Tuesday, November 8, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Polling places are the same as they were in the last county election. For voter information contact the county clerk’s office at 780-3938.

Early voting will continue through November 4, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the elections room of the Karnes County New Annex Building.
