Participants from across the U.S. and Canada participate in the Senior Olympics which are held in a different state every two years.
Diana competed in shot put and discus and won both events. Competition in her age group (60-64) was excellent. In both events, the top three participants were within inches of each other.
She looks forward to competing in two years in Cleveland, Ohio in hopes of continuing her success in shot put and discus.
Diana began her love for both of these events while a student at Three Rivers Junior High and High School in the 1960’s and 70’s.
