The Bull Blast takes place on Friday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. Koerth said, “There will be 25 bull riders in the ‘Bull Blast’ and the top five will come back for a second. Prize pay is an average. We expect the prize to be around $1,100. The winner also will receive a trophy belt buckle from the Three Rivers Farmers Co-op.”
Koerth, of Whitsett, is a two-time world champion in the National Senior Pro Rodeo Association. He has also won numerous reserve championships. He retired in November 2007 and formed K-3 Bucking Bulls. He produces and furnishes bulls for bull bucking across the state of Texas.
