The Three Rivers High School UIL team placed third out to 31 schools at the Tuloso-Midway UIL Meet on Saturday, Feb. 26.

The Social Studies team came in first. The team consists of Landry Newport, Dani Coquat and Chris Duenes. The Calculator Applications team came in second. Team members are Saul Cruces, Luis Riojas and George Guerra.

Placing third was the Mathematics team of Saul Cruces, Adrianna Sulaica and Victor Fernandez.

Individual results are as follows:

Gage Saenz – Ninth grade number sense – third place, ninth grade science – fifth place.

Luis Riojas – Tenth grade number sense – fifth place, tenth grade calculator applications – first place, tenth grade science – first place, Chemistry – third place.

Adrianna Sulaica – 12th grade number sense – sixth place.

George Guerra – Tenth grade calculator applications – second place.

Saul Cruces – 12th grade calculator applications – third place, 12th grade mathematics – fourth place. Victor Fernandez – Eleventh grade mathematics – fifth place.

Landry Newport – social studies – second place.

Dani Coquat – social studies – fourth place. Rachel Gonzalez – literary criticism – sixth place. Darcy Orsak – poetry – first place. Maegan Haag – poetry – fourth place.
