On behalf of St. Philip’s Episcopal School, I would like to thank Dan Hughes for bringing Owen Hopkins to our campus for his presentation, “Bones in Schools.” The students learned about pre-historic animals that were in South Texas. We appreciate having this experience to see and receive maps, bones and Texas Ice Age books from the Corpus Christi Geological Society.

Also, St. Philip’s School would like to thank Jane Duryea and her Coastal Bend College art students for showing and helping our grade school students throw a pot on their potter’s wheel. The students and faculty enjoyed the experience of working with clay. We appreciate CBC and the art department’s willingness to visit our campus.
