Bron L. Broll, 87, of Cestohowa, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at his residence.

Mr. Broll was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Cestohowa to Henry Broll Sr. and Elizabeth Moczygemba Broll. He married Lillian Laskowski Broll at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko on Oct. 18, 1955. He was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa and a member of the Rosary Circle. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a lifelong farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Broll of Cestohowa; son, Harvey (Clara Duelm) Broll of Cestohowa; daughters, Lynette (Mark) Moczygemba of San Antonio and Denise (Michael) Burg of LaVernia; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Irene Ibrom of Yorktown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Theresa Kowalik and Agnes Skloss; and brother, Henry Broll Jr.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City with a rosary recited at 7:30 this evening.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 24, at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa with interment following in the Cestohowa Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Burg, Jeffrey Burg, Gregory Burg, Jason Moczygemba, Zachary Duelm, Norbert Skloss, and Ernie Broll.
