Francisca A. “Kika” Perez, 74, died at her residence near Kenedy, on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.

Mrs. Perez was born Oct. 16, 1939, in Three Rivers to Luis and Claudia Almaraz Aguirre. She was a housewife.

Survivors include her sons, George Perez of Kenedy, Isaac Perez, Albert (Colleen) Perez and Eloy Perez, all of Sugarland, and Randy (Christina) Perez of Karnes City; daughters, Linda Perez, Sandy (Sam) Hennie and Marian (Robert) Boudousquie, all of Sugarland, and Gloria (Eusebio) Morales of Kenedy; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Amelia Castaneda; and a brother, Luis Aguirre.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard Perez.

Visitation began at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel in Karnes City with a rosary recited at 7 o’clock that evening.

The funeral Mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 11, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City, with interment following in the Karnes City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Isaac Perez, Albert Perez, Eloy Perez, Randy Perez, Dallas Perez and Eusebio Morales.
