She was born April 4, 1931 in Hobson to R.J. and Alvina Sprencel Moczygemba. She married her late husband of 50 years, Albert Banduch, on June 15, 1954 in Hobson. She was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church and the Altar Society for many years. She loved gardening, reading, and doing needlepoint and embroidery.
Survivors include her son, Leslie (Barbara) Banduch of Libertyville, Ill.; daughters, Marilyn (Charlie)Conger of Missouri City, Debbie (Ken) Gerik of Whitney, and Carolyn (Todd) Ericson of Sugar Land; brother, Valerian Moczygemba; sister, Lucy Swierc; eleven grandchildren, Chris Conger, Kevin Conger, Kaitlin Banduch, Aaron Banduch, Eric Banduch, Jennifer Gerik, Emily Gerik, Courtney Ericson, Jacob Ericson, McKenzie Ericson and Josh Ericson and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; brother, Flavian Moczygemba; and sisters, Matilda Kruciak and Catherine Moczygemba.
Visitation was held Friday, April 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home.
A Rosary was recited Saturday, April 5 at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Cornelius Catholic Church. The officiant was Fr. Stanley Marciniak.
Interment was in Panna Maria Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Chris Conger, Kevin Conger, Aaron Banduch, Eric Banduch, Jacob Ericson and Josh Ericson.
