KCHS students earn honors at Western art competition

Sanchez become the first student to have his drawing included in the Top Fifty of the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo Western Art Competition.  Although it will not be auctioned, it is framed and on display at the Briscoe Western Art Museum downtown San Antonio and is eligible to be purchased after the Rodeo.

On Thursday, Feb. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. the Karnes City art classes will be hosting the Western Art Competition Art Work from the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in the Karnes City High School library.

All of the art work will be on display including the finalists that competed in San Antonio. The public is invited including all parents and friends of the KCHS Art Department.
