Otto Frank Krause, Jr.
Otto Frank Krause, Jr., 81, a lifelong resident of Kenedy, died in his home, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013.

Mr. Krause was born March 6, 1932 in Gonzales to Otto Frank Krause, Sr. and Gertrude DeJardo Krause. He served his country in the United States Army having fought in the Korean Conflict. On November 24, 1993, he married Anita Garcia in Karnes City. He was a farmer and rancher and enjoyed his simple life in the Texas country.

Survivors include his wife of over 20 years, Anita Garcia Krause; his daughter, Juanita (Johnny) Munoz; his sons, Otto (Phyllis) Krause, III and Jimmy (Claudia) Krause; his nine grandchildren, Jeremy Krause, Kenworth Krause, Juan Munos, Monica Cortez, Kristen Stewart, Theresa Munos, Julia Shae Castaneda, Isabell Casanova, and Aileen Krause and 17 great-grandchildren; five sisters; three sisters-in-laws and 1 brother-in-law.

Mr. Krause is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Aileen N. Krause.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13 in the Eckols Chapel, Kenedy.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 14 also in the chapel.

Interment followed in the Pawnee Cemetery, Pawnee.
