Lady Badgers volleyball team falls to Stockdale, 3-1

The Karnes City High School Lady Badgers volleyball team lost to Stockdale at home on Friday, Oct. 4.

Stockdale won three of the four sets played.

Set scores were 25-22, 20-25, 23-25 and 14-25.

Kayla Ramirez led the Lady Badgers in kills with a total of seven. JuliAnn Chesser had five kills.

Chesser led the team in assists with a total of 11. Ramirez had nine assists.

Miranda Leal led the Karnes City team in digs with a total of 23. Kortney Witte had 11 digs.

Ramirez had two blocks and Witte had one block.

Chesser and Miranda Leal led the team in aces, each tallying four aces during the match. Lauren Kelley had two aces and Sophia Bianchi had one ace.

The Lady Badgers are going on the road to face Schulenburg this Saturday, Oct. 12.

The match is set to begin at 11 a.m.
