SOUTH REGION 4-H RANGE DAY
4-H Range Day on Aug. 9 in Ben Bolt at La Copita Research and Demonstration Ranch. Learn about the 4-H Plant ID and Range Judging Contest.
LAMB & GOAT REGISTRATION
Lamb and Goat registration deadline is Aug. 22. Tags will be $10 for market lambs and market goats. Validation for breeding sheep will be $5. Late tag orders will be $20. More details to follow.
KARNES COUNTY MARKET DAYS
The Karnes County Market Days, featuring a farmers market will begin Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continue monthly on the third Saturday of every month. This event will be held on the Otto Kaiser Hospital grounds. The Karnes County 4-H will host a 4K walk/run from 8 to 9 a.m. in conjunction with the market days. Sign in table will be along county road 345, north side of hospital grounds. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Any interested vendors, please contact us at 830-780-3906.
