The Kenedy Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kelsey Yeater, President Arnold Alaniz and Director Rosie Garza were judges at the Kenedy Elementary School Annual Gifted and Talented Science Fair.  The theme was “Space - The Last Frontier.” Each student built one of the following models: a space vehicle, lunar rover, shuttle or international space station.  The winners were second grade: first place-Chase Torres, second place-Brayden Sanchez and third place-Hannah Mejia; third grade: first place-Jayden Chapa, second place-Stefani Prieto and third place-Dylan Farias; fourth grade: first place-Cailin Glover, second place-Chloe Glover and third place-Paul Ryan; fifth grade: first place-Camryn Garza, second place-Cheri Riojas and third place-Haily Havron.  Original take home project winners were: first place-Michael Hartsfield, second place-Terik Hickman and third place-Dylan Farias; others placing in this category were Noah Cruz, Emily Cruz, Chole Peterson, Jolie Mead and Fernando Vargas.
