The Falls City Beaverettes softball team finished their regular season with a record of 11-1 with an 8-4 win over Three Rivers and are the 31-A District Champions.

“It was an amazing game,” said Coach Travis Ehrlich. “Three Rivers had a rally in the top of the 6th to tie the game 4-4 and we answered with 4 runs in the bottom of the inning. The last play of the game, a runner from 2nd was trying to score on a base hit to left field. Kayla Kotara put a perfect throw to Caitlin Jendrusch and the game ended with the play at the plate.”

“I am extremely proud of these girls as they have gotten better every day and showed great composure the last two games.”
