Mrs. Brysch was born Sept. 17, 1925 in Cestohowa to Thomas Krawietz and Cecilia Banduch Krawietz. She married Elias Stanley Brysch, Sr. on October 24, 1949 in Panna Maria. Frances taught elementary school in the 1940’s at the Ruckman Community School and later worked as an LVN at Karnes City Hospital and later retiring from Restful Acres Nursing Home in Kenedy. Frances was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa.
Survivors include her husband Elias Brysch Sr. of Cestohowa; sister, Bernice Halff of San Antonio; daughters, Sister Danat Marie Brysch of Rome, Italy, Gloria (Charlie) Donabauer of Kenedy, Mary Ann Brysch of Cestohowa, and Bernadette (Russell) Bluhm of Cestohowa; son, Elias (Anita) Brysch, Jr. Karnes City; 15 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and by an infant sister Annie Krawietz.
Visitation began Friday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa. A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. that evening at the church.
A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2 at the church in Cestohowa. Burial followed in the Cestohowa Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Elias Brysch III, Thomas Donabauer, Anthony Brysch, John Eilers, J.C. Rendon, and Joe Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearer was Ramond Morin III. Funeral services were entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home of Karnes City.
