Catherine E. Lantis, 50, of Fashing, died Friday Feb. 1, 2013 in Jourdanton.

Mrs. Lantis was born Feb. 13, 1962 in Casper, Wyo. to Lucille Richter and Glenn Crabb. She married Delavan L. Lantis on June 20, 1985 in Provo, Utah. They have lived in Fashing for the past fourteen years moving from Casper. She worked as a secretary for Alamo Lumber Co. and was a substitute teacher.

Survivors include her husband Delavan L. Lantis of Fashing; mother Lucille (Bob) Garrow of Fashing; sister Annette (David) Tripp of Sugarland; brother John Crabb of Karnes City; step-daughter Angie Kose of S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father Glenn Crabb; paternal grandparents G.W. Crabb and Ethel Cline Carpenter; maternal grandparents Herman and Julia Richter; and infant brother James Glenn Crabb.

Visitation was held Monday, Feb. 4 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel.
