DeWitt County Sheriff's Office seeks missing 13-year-old girl

GOLIAD – Goliad County Sheriff's Office dispatched a bulletin to deputies at approximately 9:45 a.m. Friday of the possible abduction of a 13-year-old DeWitt County girl.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Phoebe Nichole Hughes was last seen with 34-year-old Eric Castillo in Cuero.

Hughes, who was last seen Friday at 5 a.m., is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weights 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. She has a scar on her left leg.

Castillo is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 185 pounds with red hair and brown eyes.

The suspect is driving a black 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with Texas license plate number BX8-B009. The vehicle has a Marine Corps sticker on the back windshield. Castillo was last heard from in Cuero.

Law officials believe the child to be in grave or immediate danger.

If anyone has seen Hughes, the vehicle or suspect, they are asked to call the DeWitt County Sheriff's Office at 275-5734.
