Goliad High School sophomores continued the tradition to give back at Christmas.

The sophomores raised $396.41 within a two-week span and received additional donations to bring the total to $792.88 for “Toys For Tots.”

The students wanted to participate in the buying of the gifts, so they met at H-E-B Plus in Victoria on Dec. 15 to pick out toys for children.

The students would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Gruetzmacher and all the parents who made the trip to H-E-B, Goliad High School Principal Liz Harris for her support, Mrs. Buckert, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Dennis, and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Gruetzmacher for their donations.
