Goliad grad gets diploma at Texas A&M

Mr. and Mrs. Pat A. Brennan are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter, Kelsey Marie Dugas, from Texas A&M University at College Station on Aug. 16.

Dugas received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural communications and journalism. She interned at KBTX News in Bryan.

Dugas was an active member of “Best Buddies,” a non-profit organization at Texas A&M dedicated to establishing a volunteer movement to create opportunities for one-on-one friendships with people who are intellectually disabled. She was also a member of Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow at Texas A&M University, designed for students who have a professional interest in the field of communications of agriculture.

While attending A&M, Dugas was employed at the Texas A&M University Recreation Center as a certified aerobics instructor.

She is employed with Capital Star Oil & Gas Inc., in Houston.

Dugas is a 2009 graduate of Goliad High School.
