Thefts at Goliad stores thought to be connected

GOLIAD – Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible the recent theft of cash from the wallet of an employee at the Dollar General store in Goliad.

An employee reported $400 stolen from her wallet in the store’s break room on Nov. 5. A short time later, a theft of a donation jar occurred at the Lowe’s Market, 400 W. Pearl Street. Investigators believe the two thefts may be connected.
