Coastal Bend CrimeStoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for vandalizing the front door of the Dollar General Store in Goliad.

At about 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 26, employees arriving at the Dollar General Store in Goliad found that one of the front glass doors of the store had been broken overnight by someone apparently using a pellet gun or similar weapon.

Investigators found an impact mark on the door from a low-power projectile, which caused the glass to shatter. The projectile did not penetrate the glass and was not found in the parking lot. The vandalism occurred between approximately 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 7:30 a.m. the following morning.
