BLOOMINGTON – The Goliad Tigerettes improved to 3-0 in District 30-2A volleyball action Tuesday night with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-18 win over the Bloomington Lady Cats.

Goliad (16-8) was led eight kills each from Ashtin Zamzow and Mallory Bruns. Roxanne Morris added six kills.

Megan Hilscher had 13 digs, Roxanne Morris tallied 12 and Zamzow added eight. Hilscher had a pair of service aces and Bruns and Zamzow had one each.

Kendall Coles posted 19 assists and Zamzow had 17. Zamzow led the team in blocks with two and Hilscher had one.

The Tigerettes return to action Friday with a district match at Edna.
