The First United Methodist Church of Goliad will begin an eight-week Women’s Fall Bible Study on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The study will be each Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Community Life Center.

The group will study the last book admitted into the New Testament canon, 2 Peter, which is a letter of warning, but filled with “very great and precious promises” inviting believers to a living participation in God’s truth.

The group will study how to detect falsehood and how to recognize and understand the characteristics of truth.

The Bible study is free of charge. Childcare will be available.

For information, contact the church office at 645-2546 or Teresa Childress at 645-3467 if childcare is needed.

Women of all ages are invited to attend.
