There is an enrollment fee of $20 per member that will be paid by 4-H council if enrolled by Sept. 30. After Sept. 30, members be responsible for their enrollment fees.
The fee will be $20 through Oct. 31. From Nov. 1 to the end of the year, the fee will be $25.
Membership is open to all youth who are in the third grade through 18 years of age.
Projects and activities include food and nutrition, shooting sports, beef, goats, rabbits, poultry, sheep, swine, clothing and textiles, photography, small animals, consumer decision- making contest, judging contests, leadership, citizenship, outdoor education, recreation, Share the Fun contest, educational presentations, public speaking, community service and more.
Regular dates, times, and locations for the meetings are:
A.S.K.M. – first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Ander-Weser Volunteer Fire Department in Ander.
Berclair – third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Moya’s Restaurant in Berclair.
Gold Star – first Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. at Julie Wimberly Memorial Homemaking Building at Fairgrounds in Goliad.
Lakewood – first meeting will be Monday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fannin Fire Station and the other meetings will be the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at members’ homes in Lakewood.
Schroeder – second Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Parish Hall in Schroeder.
Stampede – first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Julie Wimberly Memorial Homemaking Building in Goliad.
Weesatche – first meeting will be Sunday, Sept. 8 at the Weesatche Community Center at 5 p.m. and regular meetings will be the first Sunday of the month at 5 p.m. at the Weesatche Community Center.
