He was born in Edinburg on Feb. 2, 1941 to Paul R. and Esther Wright Ehrlich.
He worked many years in the oilfield in Louisiana and offshore. He became a licensed Texas auctioneer and enjoyed raising and trading livestock and caring for his minature horses and rat terriers.
Bill was loved and is survived by his daughter, Marjorie Ehrlich Clark of Woodstock, Ga.; son, Greg Ehrlich of Greensboro, N.C.; sisters, Lillian Wyers of China Spring, Barbara Strong of Houston and June Euler of Victoria; brother, Jerry Ehrlich of Goliad; four grandchildren, Mary Evelyn, Paul, William and Annie Clark along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Grace Funeral Home, 214 N. Market Street in Goliad. Memorials in memory of Bill may be made to the donors favorite charity.
