VANDERBILT – The Goliad Tigers finished their 2013 baseball season on a winning note with a six-inning 13-2 District 30-2A victory over the Industrial Cobras on Monday.

The Tigers ended the season with an 11-10 overall record and 8-6 district mark, which was good enough for fourth place.

Dustin Heibel struck out nine and allowed only two hits. Edward led Goliad's 12-hit attack by going 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and an RBI. Davis Ohrt went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double, a triple and two RBI. Justin Thomas was 2-for-4 with a run scored.
