Join Corpus Christi Spook Central members as they go back to the Berclair Mansion on Friday, July 13. They won’t just walk you around the outside of the Mansion; they will take you inside and allow you to explore and investigate the haunted history of this 22-room, 10,000-square-foot home constructed of steel and concrete that is the Berclair Mansion. The hardwood floors don’t move, but voices and footsteps can be heard by visitors and staff. Hear these chilling tales and more as you explore the Berclair Mansions historic past.
Participants will be joined by members of Corpus Christi’s foremost authority of paranormal investigations, Corpus Christi Spook Central. Corpus Christi Spook Central has been featured on Discovery Channel and the Travel Channel. With complete access to the CCSC Paranormal team you will be able to observe unique equipment in efforts to record and document possible paranormal activity. Guests are more than welcomed to bring their own voice recording devices (no cameras or video equipment will be allowed at this time, but you may bring a flashlight and/or voice recorder if you like).
Shirley O’Neil of the Beeville Art Association heard footsteps and voices while alone in the home once turning off lights. “I thought someone saw me come in and followed me,” O’Neil said. “After I heard them, I went back through the house saying, ‘Hello, hello, can I help you...?’ “There was dead silence – no one there.”
Two investigations will be offered on this date, 8-10 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight, and includes viewing evidence of past investigations. Proceeds from this event will go toward the ongoing restoration efforts of the Berclair Mansion.
The Berclair Mansion is on U.S. Highway 59 in the town of Berclair. Buy tickets early. Space is limited to 20 guests per investigation. The price is $25. Age limit 18 and up.
