The Lady Trojans got a leadoff double from catcher Kymberly Wolfe and a wild pitch moved her on to third. Celeste Contreras brought her in on a sacrifice fly to center to put the Lady Trojans in front, 11-1.
Amador also produced at the plate with a perfect 3-3 night and two RBI’s. Baltazar contributed one hit as did Alexis Pelitire, Amanda Gonzales, Patsy Longoria and Celeste Contreras.
Amador struck out the first two hitters she faced in the top of the fifth and then got the final out on a ground ball to short to end the game. The Lady Trojans won 11-1 because of the 10-run rule.
“Adrianna and Theresa both took charge on the mound for us. Along with Kymberly behind the plate, this trio has contributed a lot to our overall success this year,” said JV coach Ophelia De Los Santos.
