Motorcycle Santa, his elves and other jolly riders rolled onto the campus of South Texas Children’s Home Ministries again this year as young and old alike waved an excited welcome.

Approximately 35 riders and participants from the Ingleside VFW MG Unit 11-6386, the Beeville VFW Post 9170, and the ladies auxiliary groups from both posts provided wrapped gifts and refreshments for the children, plus the chance to straddle one of their big motorcycles.

Riders from the Patriot Guard also participated, and the Army National Guard of Corpus Christi contributed gifts and helped with party preparations.

“The children each received a gift from Santa and immediately began playing with their new toy,” said Becky Moore, STCHM director of student ministries. “What a blessing to see how people pour out so much to show a child kindness and love and that someone cares about them. It was a great day of fun.”
