The Live Oak Duplicate Bridge Club Christmas Party was held Saturday, Dec, 5 at Sara Dunn’s Key Allegro, Rockport home with 22 players, who were from San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Campbellton, Karnes City, Kenedy, Beeville, Three Rivers and George West. Overall winners for the all-day event were Steve Kassarjian & Beula Mae Pearce, first place, Roxana Tom and Katherine Ann Gary, second place, Anne Hinton and Roxana Tom, third place and Dorthy Rippstein and Verline Luthringer, fourth place.

Dorthy Rippstein served as director.

Morning winners were North/South Elaine Bennett & Mary Johnson 1st, Sara Dunn & Walter Long 2nd. East/West Hinton & Roxana2 Tom 1st, David Wilson & Margaret Crumpler 2nd.

Afternoon winners were North/South Kassarjian & Pearce 1st, Dunn & Long 2nd. East/West winners were Gary & Tom 1st, Rippstein & Luthringer 2nd.

The Live Oak Duplicate Bridge Club met on Monday evening, Dec. 14 at the Beaty Christian Center. Winners were Roxana Tom & Pat Herzog tied with Diane Staudt & Jean Freeborn for first place.
