Bee County Chamber of Commerce officials are cautiously optimistic as they head into the big Summerfest weekend.

“Wednesday through Saturday is when ticket sales usually take place,” said executive director Keith Arnold as they prepare for large crowds.

He encourages Tejano and Texas Country music lovers to go online and purchase their tickets at

For those who don’t know or haven’t experienced Summerfest, it’s an annual music extravaganza hosted over two nights at the Bee County Expo Center.

Friday is Tejano night featuring fan favorites Siggno as headliners. Ricky Naranjo also will perform and Luna y Sol Mariachi will open the show starting at 8 o’clock.

Saturday’s Texas Country night features nationally known artist Pat Green returning to Beeville. The Dave Rukkus Band will kick things off at 8 o’clock, followed by Cory Morrow before Green takes the stage.

Chamber organizers urge Bee County and area residents to make this a summer to remember by coming to hear and dance to two nights of awesome music – offered right at home.

Doors open at 7 p.m. at the Expo Center. For those who don’t order online, presale tickets are $12 apiece and can be picked up at several locations around town. They are $15 at the door.

Join in the fun and help a rebuilding organization, which helps promote our community and soon will make a major announcement, in the process.
