On Wednesday, June 25, Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital will hold its next Lunch and Learn program of 2014. The topic this month will be “Keeping your Cool”—on how to deal with minor summer first aid emergencies and basic CPR.

Representatives will be on hand from Air Evac and the staff at OKMH to share some vital information that everyone should know. Discussions will range from water safety to staying hydrated in these grueling South Texas summers. All participants also will be given an opportunity to register for a free CPR or basic first aid course to be held in July.

There is no charge for the program, and due to the success of the previous events, two time slots will be available for guests to choose from: 11:30-12:30 p.m. and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Both programs will be identical, and a complimentary lunch is included in the event. Bring your first aid and summer safety questions and leave the seminar armed with new information on making your summer a happy and healthy one.

Groups are welcome; however, reservations are needed to plan for lunches. Make your reservation today as classes are limited to the first 50 attendees. Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital is located at 3349 S. Hwy. 181 between Kenedy and Karnes City.
