BEEVILLE – The University Interscholastic League announced its two-year realignment for football on Monday morning and the Trojans have found a new home in District 15-4A Division I.

The six-team district consists of Beeville’s A.C. Jones, Gonzales, La Vernia, Pleasanton, Robstown and Rockport-Fulton.

The Trojans dropped a classification, although it is still named 4A. The former members of last year’s 4A are all members of this year’s classification 5A.

The A.C. Jones High School drop is due to lower enrollment.

The Trojans have been aligned with Pleasanton, Robstown and Rockport-Fulton in former districts over the past few years. La Vernia and Gonzales will be new district foes for the Beeville football boys.

Skidmore-Tynan is now in District 15-3A Div. II with Banquete, Bloomington, Odem, Santa Gertrudis Academy and Taft.

Pettus is in District 16-2A Div. II with Agua Dulce, Benavides, Bruni and Woodsboro.

In basketball and other sports, the Beeville boys will be in District 31-4A along with West Oso, Ingleside, Kingsville King, Orange Grove, Robstown, Rockport-Fulton and Sinton.
