Here we go again – more confusion and distortions from Cipriano C. Perez. In the response letter to me in last Wednesday’s edition, Mr. Perez made the following unfounded and ridiculous accusations: He’s accusing me of accusing him of being critical and of drawing and making uninformed and irresponsible conclusions about him.

First, I didn’t accuse him of being critical. I accused him of distorting the truth and confusing the public; and the title of the letter which was published last Saturday, Jan. 25, makes that abundantly clear. Check it out.

Second, I read his letter – that was published on Saturday, Jan. 18, in which he falsely, without any evidence whatsoever, accused the sheriff and his deputies of cold-blooded murder – several times – before drawing the conclusions I made about him. That’s a fact.

I’m standing by what I said in my last letter: “Mr. Perez’s accusations are unfounded and ridiculous.”
