Louise Holland, 78, of Beeville, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Holland was born Jan. 1, 1935, in Anna Rose to Edward Brady and Bettie (Smith) Morton. She was a cafeteria worker at the public school system in Beeville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edward Morton Jr., Tom Morton and William Morton; and a sister, Catherine Gausch.

Survivors include her husband, James Holland of Beeville; two sons, Larry James (Myrna) Holland of Kingsville and Edward Dale Holland of Beeville; two daughters, Janet Doreen (Richard Padgett) Holland of San Antonio and Marilyn (William) McClary of Houston; two brothers, Louis Morton of Three Rivers and Toby Morton of La Porte; and a sister, Tincey Roberts of Mathis; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.

A graveside service was conducted at 1 o’clock that afternoon at the Clegg Cemetery, Clegg community, Live Oak County.

Pallbearers were Larry James Holland, James Morton, Jeremiah Heye, William McClary, Arthur Morton and Edward Brady Morton III.

Services were entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
