The match play tournament will be accepting entries through 5 p.m. Aug. 29. The Friday qualifying round is optional and is used to determine the 20 players that advance to the Saturday evening “Shoot-out,” using the low ten gross scores and low ten net scores.
Match play begins Saturday, with players being flighted by their individual handicaps. Competition continues through Monday (Labor Day).
Lots of extra activities are included in the $175 per player entry fee. A Friday night party, a Saturday night “Shoot-out,” which will be followed by music by the Scott Taylor Band, on Saturday and Sunday, hole-in-one contests on No. 7 and No. 16, with trips to Pinehurst and Pebble Beach up for grabs, a Sunday night player’s dinner and lots more fun and competitive events will be included in the four nights of fun and competition.
