Mr. Quesada was born Sept. 9, 1934, to Jose and Victoria Quesada in Mexico. He worked for Welder and McCan Ranch as a cook and ranch hand for many years before moving to Fort Myers, Fla., as a harvester. He moved back to Woodsboro a year ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a son-in-law, Manuel Lopez.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores Quesada; 12 step-children; second ex-wife, Elvia P. Quesada; their three daughters, Gidget (Tim) Joiner of Cleveland, Gloria (John) Canchola of Refugio and A.J. Lopez of Woodsboro; two sons, Joe-E (LaQuisha) Quesada of Landcaster, Pa. and Daniel (Elizabeth) Quesada of Goliad; first ex-wife, Beatriz Zaragoza Diaz; their three daughters, Elvia Quesada, and Olga (Jose) Rojo and Condelaria Quesada, both of Fort Myers, Fla.; three sons, Fernando (Mayra) Quesada Jr., of Fort Myers, Fla., and Martin and Eddie Quesada of Mexico; numerous grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The rosary was recited Monday, Aug. 19, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at St. Therese Catholic Church. Burial followed at St. Bernard Cemetery in Woodsboro.
