Mrs. Rojas was born April 10, 1927, in Beeville to Atanacio G. and Jacinta (Vera) Perez. She married Onofre G. Rojas and was a housewife. She was also an active parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Jaime Rojas of Lake Jackson and Steve Rojas of Beeville; a daughter-in-law, Carmen E. Rojas of Lake Jackson; a brother, Pablo (Carolina) Perez of Beeville; three sisters, Adelfa Alaniz and Delia Rivas of Beeville and Lucia Cortez of Clute; a granddaughter, Jacare Church; a grandson, Yash Rojas; a great-granddaughter; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A rosary was recited Thursday, Aug. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Aug. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church with Father Luke Thirunelliparambil officiating. Interment followed at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Billy Myers, Henry Estrada, Nick Rivas Jr., Martin Rivas, Lawrence Rivas and Fernando Rivas.
