Nelson, Dye to exchange wedding vows

Mr. and Mrs. William P. Nelson of Maryville, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tracy Lynn, to Forrest Danforth Dye of Carrollton.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Overbeck and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Nelson.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Barnhill of Goliad and the late David N. Dye. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Robinson, Morris N. Dye and the late Juanita Stewart Dye and of W.T. Barnhill of Goliad.

The couple will wed Oct. 12 in the Chapel at Freedom Life Church in Carrollton.

Tracy has a degree in chemistry from Anderson University in Indiana and a degree in nuclear medicine technology from Saint Louis University. She is currently transitioning into health information technology.

Forrest is a computer science graduate of Texas A&M University and is employed as a software engineer for Verizon.
