The Department of Theater at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will present the fourth annual Summer Show for Youth, Roald Dahl’s “James and the Giant Peach” on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.; on Friday, Aug. 2, at 7 p.m.; and on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 2 p.m.; in the Performing Arts Center.
Directed by Kayla Gaar and Rafael Juarez, this adventure comes hilariously to life in this delightful dramatization that reveals the wickedness of some, the goodness of others, and the indecision encountered by many when they are faced with crises.

TAMU-CC and the Coastal Bend Community Foundation will host the “Cyber Security Boot Camp for Veterans” from Monday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 9, in the Center for Instruction.
The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. The camp for veterans will consist of a week-long intensive program that will cover information security and information assurance. It will include general and applied classes on both Microsoft Windows security and Linux security protocols and implementation.
