REFUGIO – The Williamson Senior Citizens Center will host a going-away dinner for Frank Hosey at noon on Thursday, Aug. 1. The center will furnish the main course and members will bring a covered dish.

Hosey has accepted a position with his agency in Corpus Christi.

“Frank has been a stalwart volunteer at the senior center and a great neighbor in our building,” said Kenda Nelson, director of Elderly Services. “He volunteers to cook dinner for the members, and he’s a great cook. We wish him the best in his new job, but we’ll miss him greatly.”

Members and potential members are asked to sign up for this meal in order that the center may get a head count.

Anyone 55 years or older is welcome to join the center. There is not cost to join and the meals are provided on a donation basis. In the near future, the center will plan events.
