The limbs and brush will not be chipped.
The same requirements will still apply. Residents must first sign up at City Hall in order for limbs to be picked up. The truck will only stop at locations on the list.
Residents must place limbs near the pavement edge free of metal, such as nails and no limbs greater than 3 inches in diameter.
Limbs must not be put under low-lying wires or trees due to the grappler truck from Absolute Waste being used to pick up the limbs. It needs room to pick up limbs.
Another important change is that the pick-up will only take place for two days. If limbs are not put out before July 21, they will not be picked up.
To insure being picked up, limbs should be put out no more than 10 days in advance and in an accessible location before brush pick-up occurs.
If residents don’t sign up and limbs are not picked up, residents will be required to dispose of the limbs within 10 days after notice from the city to remove the debris.
Deadline to sign up is Tuesday, July 16. Limbs may be put out starting July 12 but not after July 21.
Residents interested in having any limbs picked up can come by City Hall to fill out a short form or call 645-3454 for more information.
