On Wednesday, June 19, the Runge Public Library welcomed the Texas State Aquarium and Ocean in a Box. Many kids (and adults) were fascinated by the various turtles, crabs, sharks, and jellyfish on display, and everyone enjoyed the chance to ask questions and interact with the very knowledgeable folks from the aquarium.

I hope you didn't miss it, but if you did, don't worry, we've still got plenty of programs for you coming up this summer. On Thursday, June 27 at 3 p.m. we'll be having a presentation on fish and fishing in our area. You'll get to examine fish and talk about how they live and act in their environment and you'll also get a chance to try your hand at a little fishing yourself.

For more information please contact the Runge Public Library at (830) 239-4192.
